My subject is flowers/small plant life at night. I chose this subject because I am interested in small plant life such as flowers, and believed I would enjoy making this culminating project if I used this subject. The main focus in my photos of the elements and principles of art were emphasis, as you can see, to focus on this in my photos I did close ups in many of my photos to fill the frame, and made sure that my subject was in focus, and then darken the area around in Photoshop to also add emphasis. The techniques I used out on the field were my sister(assistant) holding a flashlight at different angles of the subject, while I used the camera on manual mode with an IOS of 100, shutter speed at 1/60, and f-stop at 5.0. In Photoshop, I increased the contrast between colours and dark's, made the dark's darker to emphasize the subject, sharpened the edges to make the subject easier to see, and made the colours vibrant using vibrance to emphasize the subject.
